“The. Fighting Adventurer”will be Friday’s special picture. Bill Pendleton, college, youth, spends more time in aeronautics than studying. He wagers he will propose to any girl selected by his “fraternity” brothers, who accuse, him of fearng women. They select an old-fashioned girl of the college, Whose father is a missionary in China. He does not'propose, but makes love to her, giving her his fraternity badge. The. men tell the girl lie did it to win a wager. r J.lie girl is broken hearted. Bill is expelled from college and disowned by his father. Bill goes, to work on the waterfront and seeing the. giri going aboard ship he slows away on the same vessel. In China the gni becomes a prisoner of revolutionists. He aids her; thanks to a drunkard friend, now a general. Using aeroplanes the two effect a thrilling rescue.
