WANDERING STOCK IN SHANNON.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—-Would you kindly advise me if Ave have a Borough Ranger in Shannon. 1 .was under the impression that we had and that he is in receipt ,of £1 per week for carrying out his duties, or have the. roads, been thrown open,. If not, Avhy are me roads not cleared of wandering stock.' On a recent morning I found six cows in my garden converting it into a stockyard. It. is quite common to see cattle on the road in the Borough night and day, and a danger to tne travelling public. and anyone, who attempts to keep a cottage garden, l trust that* the Borough Council will take the matter up and show that they are not going to allow the law to be treated as a dead letter.—l am, etC " -<W. SWINDLEHURST.
