EVEN TIME FOR 100 YARDS.
GREAT SPRINT BY COLLEGIAN. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. At the annual sports of St. Bede’s Catholic College to-day, H. Lee proved himself to be the fastest schoolboy sprinter seen in Christchurch for years. In his heat of the 220 yards handicap he won from scratch and lowered the record to 24 2-5 secs. In the afternoon he put up an even more wonderful record by winning the 100 yards handicap, from scratch, in the remarkably fine time of 10 secs. He had the assistance of a strong "northwesterly behind him, but nevertheless his performance was a brilliant one as the track was slow after the i'ecent rains. *
