On Easter Monday a pairs tournament was held, ,on the local greens and a very enjoyable day was spent. At the end of the day’s play Bright and Gagliardi (skip) were the winners, being successful in all games, namely four. The following were the results: Gagliardi 4 wins. Huntley, 2 wins. 2 lost. Walker, 4 lost. Nye, one Nv,in, ?• lost. Murray, 1 2 lost, 2 wins. Knowles, 2 lost, 2 wins. Quarrie, ,3 wins, 1 lost. • Bain, 2 lost, 2 wins.

Messrs Wiggins, Gardner, B. Spencer, and E. Spencer (skip) won three games and lost six at the Bowling Tournament held at Palmerston during Easter. , /
