WONDERFUL ENTERTAINMENT!
SPECIAL FOR THURSDAY. In “On© Week of Love,” which comes to. the Shpuitaon.' Theatre on Thursday next, film patrons of this towtn aTe in for a wonderful feast of entertainment. The picture is quite the most exciting and impressive piece of wiork that has been threatening 1,0 explode upon us for weeks. Certainly My non Selznick, who produced. the : picture, has never sent us anything quite so enthralling. The story affects a society girl who suddenly tires of the earth and worldly pleasures, and decides to take a jaunt in an aeroplane. Unfortunately, she flies in .the same spirit that she dances ; and when • her plane accidentally comes down to earth, a lot of her high-falutin’ notions come down with (her.. She lands right in a nest of outlaws, the chief of whom is a sort of Captain Kidd of the mountains. From this point on the story is conclusively and totally absorbing so that one wishes for an extra eye k to view all the goings-on. The girl, far from being a mechanical doll that does a,s it is told, evinces a spirit that is / at once audacious and courageous. Nevertheless, she has a battle and a half on her hands trying to ward off this Gods’ country Sheik. To give away the story before it has received the key to' our town would he doing it a great injustice. We can only say that it is a splendid example of the motion, picture vat its best and is its own excuse foribeing. .
