A LONGBUHN VISIT. On Wednesday afternoon the Shannon Club received a visit from a Longburn team., when a most enjoyable match was played, the local players winning by 9 sets to 7, although the visitors won 110 games to the local players’ 100. Tea was dispensed during the afternoon, which W|as much appreciated. Following) are the scores, Longburn players being mentioned first in each case:— Men’s Singles—E. Jewell 9 games v. W.
