SHANNON ATHLETIC CLUB.

TO-MORROW'S MEETING.

Everything is in readiness tor the sports meeting to ibe held at the Shannon Domain to-morrow by the Shannon Amateur Athletic Club and given fine weather there should be a record attendance. Big entries have been received and- the public are assured of an excellent day in the open. Apart from the cycling and running events, a big attraction will be the wood chopping events for which over 40 entries have been' received, all the leading axemen in the district taking part. The catering arrangements w, be in the hands of Mr Berry, while picnic paities will be able to procure hot water on the ground. During the day the Foxton Band will render a programme of music. The first race 'starts at 11.30 a.m.
