A meeting,' which is to take place on Wednesday afternoon, is to arrange io carry on with the church euchre even--1 ingft. -These entertainments, which have been unavoidably postponed for some time, are usually vtery popular, and it, is to be hoped the .well-wishers irii this movement on behalf of the' church will accord it their h'elarty support. Anmistiae Day wa, s observed in theAnglican, Sunday School, there being no morning service, the children keeping two minutes' silence with due impressiveness and decorum. The rfev. J. C. Abbot is- to conduct } an intercession service at $i Aidan's Church on Thursday evening at 7.30. Mr and Mr s Ellai, of Wades'townt, are visiting relatives here. The' health of Mr Reg.
