GOLF NOTES.

COMMITTEE MEETING

On Saturday evening last a committee meeting, of the Golf Club was held in the Institute arid several matters, dealing with.thie club were discussed. A letter, from the president of the Tennis Club was .read asking for use of the Golf shed as «. tennis pavilion for the summer months; but Mr Bovis requested that the letter should not be discussed as the Tennis Club had made other arrangements for a building. The letter-was received. The Golf Club intends holding ; a dance on, November 20, in' the Parish Hall. Arrangements are well in hand and a strong committee of ladies intends making it one of the most enjoyable functions of the year.
