MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (MEETS. The management committee of the Horowhenuai Rugby Union, met on Tuesday 'evening, Mr J. Procter being in the chair. Proposed by Mr Procter, seconded by Mr McMillan, that arrangements for the Maori team to play the Horowheiiua Maoris on Saturday., 29th, he left, in the hands..of the secretary '■Carried. ’ proposed by Mr Procter, seconded by Mr McMillan, that the secretary he granted an honorarium of £25 lor his services.

This was carried unanimously, a hearty vote ol thanks being passed to the secretary for the able manner in wmen he nad conducted the business of the Union during the : past season. It was resolved that, owing to. a statement to the contrary having appeared in a paper within the Union, it be placed on record that the goal posts are the property of the clubs which control the grounds on which they are erected. , At the conclusion, of the meeting the chairman expressed his appreciation of tfh© mjannier in which the committee has pulled together during the past season, and of the excellent attendance of members.
