Nominations lor the election oi a new County Council closed to-day, with the following result: — Tokomaru Hiding (two members;.--Harold Barker, J. R. Whyte. Wirokina Hiding (three members).— S. A. Hroadhelt, G. P. Catley, G. F. Kilsby, C. 1. Harkness and H. J. IU./i----ards. (Cr. J. McLeavey has retired irom this riding). Otaki Hiding (two members).—H. G. Bryant, D. Noble, F. J. Ryder. (Cr. A. H. Knox retires from his riding). Te Horo Riding (two members).— Crs. G. A. Monk, P. P. Jensen, E. Mai. donald, and T. H. Windley. HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC I‘OWED BOARD. Following nominations have been received for three members to represent the County Council on the Power Board—A. A. Brown, G. P. Catley, E. Macdonald, G. A. Monk, A. Seifert and F. G. Roe. PALMERSTON HOSPITAL BOARD. Messrs S. A. Broadbelt and W. Murdoch have been elected to represent the County on the rfospital Board. .
