THIS WEEK’S QUOTATIONS. There was an, average yarding in all classes ol stock at- the Levin weekly sale on Tuesday. Sheep and cattle were dull, with • prices unchanged. In sheep the quality was about average; cattle were mostly mixed colours and indifferent quality, and sold accordingly. A good line of Jersey-grade weaner heifers met with a ready sale. Pigs.—Weahers 7/6 to 15/6, stores to 25/, porkers 33/ to £2 7/6, good baconers £4 6/. Sheep.—Store lambs 10/, cull a 1 tooth, mixed sexes, 16/, aged ewes, culls, 1 11/2 to 11/9, f.f.m. ewes 20/7, 2-tooth Southdown rams Signs to lOgns,. Romney rams ljgns to 2gns. Cattle.—Fat cows £4 12/6. to £5 10/, vealers 30/ to 35/, store 10/, potter hulls 25/, good Jerseygrade weaner heifers £3 5/ to £4 5/, others 25/ to £2, heifers r.w.b. £4 to £5, springing heifers £6. '
