POWER FROM MANGAHAO.

■ 4 : PROBABLE DATE OF COMPLETION. The Shannon News understands that the latest forecast places the probable time of completion of ihe Mangahao works at between June and August, 1924. Originally tlie estimate for the production ' of power was Christmas, 1923, but unexpected delays have occurred. The extraordinary summer, or rather lack of summer, with high floods in the Mangnhao, ha& been one factor in delaying progress, iand the other has been the difficulty in securing a sound foundation for the main dam at Mangahao. With anything like reasonable fortune, however, the works are expected. to be completed at the time indicated above.
