A PARLIAMENTARY PROTEST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The present heavy taxation of racing clubs was referred to in the House today by Mr. de la Perelle (Awarua) who .said he was satisfied the present heavy taxation on . racing clubs was' killing the goose-that laid the,., golden Mr. Isitt: I wish it would. Mr. de la Perelle said that he had received a telegram from the president of the Dunedin Club, saying that unless taxation was eased, many clubs would go under.
