WELLINGTON r. SOUTHLAND. INVERCARGILL Last Night. The Wellington-Southland match was resumed to day, but after one over, the morning play was adjourned till the afternoon owing to rain and then play was only possible for an hour. The game was finally abandoned. In the second innings, Southland made 5.7 for the loss of three wickets (Groves 24, A. Hamilton not out 17). McGirr took three for 28.
