NEWMAN CUP. On Wednesday afternoon a team

from the Shannon Club paid a return visit to- Bulls for the purpose of giving the Bulls team an opportunity oP recovering the Newman Cup. A most pleasant- afternoon was spent, and seme fine games were witnessed, the Bulls team again securing the coveted trophy. The day’s play ended with Bulls securing 14 sets to Shannon’s 10. Bulls winning 163 games to Shannon's 135. During the afternoon the visitors were most hospitably treated by the Bulls ciub, and although defeated, had a good time. Following are the scores:—
