GOOD JERSEY PRICES.

COWS REACH 81 AND 77 GUINEAS.

The sale of Mr M. J. Lenihan’s registered pedigree Jersey cows and heifers was held at the Levin saleyards on Thursday and proved verj successful. Another entry that created good competition was the heifer Newlands’ Rosebud 13,486, a full sister to Newlands’ Sunbeam, but a year her junior. She realised 77 guineas, the purchaser being Mr F. Smith, Paraparaumu. The remaining entries sold at quite satisfactory prices. The sale was conducted by Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Mr C. Day wielding the hammer in his usual efficient style.
