HALL CRICKET SHIELD.

WON AGAIN BY SHANNON

The shield presented by the late Mr Hugh Hail lor competition among the clubs in the fiorownenua district lias been won again by the shannon Cricket Club, and is now on exhibition at .the Maoriland Theatre. The shield is of polished wood mounted in silver, the centrepiece showing a batsman at the crease, while silver fern ornamentations round the edges cause the centrepiece to stand out in fine relief. The various holders of the chield are as follows: Rahui Cricket Club, I‘JOG-7; Paraparaumu, 1907-8; Manakau, 1908-9; Rahui, 1909-10; Fox toil, 1911-12; Shannon, 1912-13; Shannon 1913-14; Otaki, 1915-16; Shannon, 1919-20; Y.M.C.A., Levin, 1920-21;. Shannon, 1921-22.
