STRAY CATTLE OASES.
OFFENDERS BEFORE THE COURT.
At the Levin Magistrate’s Court yesterday, several Shannon residents were convicted and fined for allowing cattle to wander on thg streets. 7'he informations were all laid by the borough ranger, Michael O’Connor, whilst Mr Adams watched the cases on behalf of the Council. Convictions were recorded as under: S. W. Carter (two informations), fined £1 with 7/ costs and 10/ and 7/ costs; J. Hamilton 10/ and 7/ costs, D. Murray 5/ and 7/ costs, S. Bennett 10/ and! costs 7/, J. A. Grimwald 10/ and 7/ costs, Michael Fitzgerald 10/ and 7/ costs, George Quarrie 15/ costs 7/, L. H-. Newport £2 and costs 7/.
