Shannon met Levin last Wednesday at Levin in the fourth round of tne Hanner match, and lost both games. Results are:—

Levin (Clements, sen., Harris, Clements, jun)—2s. 011 Wednesday next the third and concluding round of the Triangular Shield Competition Avili be played on the shannon greens. Levin are leading on poinds, and Shannon Club will have to be all out 10 retain Hie trophy. Afternoon tea will he provided by the members’ wives, and a basket iroin members Avili be appreciated.

The second win entities Levin to have the name of tlieir club inscribed 011 the Shield for the first time. Sixth head.—Wilson drew 2ft away and Carr failed. Rankin was short. McKegg trickled kitty and gave 2 to Shannon. Rankin drew, lying the shot off Levin. 1 up. McKegg drew the shot and Bull failed to alter. Murphy drew a Levin bowl off Shannon. 3 up. Clements 1 first bowl went out of the rink but he drew the shot. B—s.
Seventh Head. —Wilson was 18 inches short. Carr’s second bowl drew the shot-. There was no alteration when the skips went down. Clements played a good shot and just failed. Levin 8, Shannon 6.
Eighth Head. —The leads were four feet short. Rankin drew the shot three feet short. McKegg drew one not away. Bull pushed the Shannon bowl up. Two to Shannon. Clements drew the shot. Roach timbered Levin one up. Levin 9, Shannon 6.
Ninth Head.—Wilson drew on kitty. Carr pushed him through and lay the sliot.' Bull'pushed kitty back. Levin two up. Clements drew another. Roach’s last bowl, with lour feet to draw’, failed. Levin three up. Levin 12, Shannon 6. Tenth Head. —Wilson drew with his second bowl and Carr beat him. Rankin shilled kitty, but did not hold the shot. The third player made no alteration. Clements ran the shot bowl out. Levin were five up, hut Roach drew the shot. Levin 12, Shannon 7. Eleventh Head.—Carr’s second bowl drew the shot. Wilson’s second bowl beat him. Rankin drew jack high, and with his second drew another shot, Murphy killed the head. Carr then drew a beauty. Wilson just failed to displace it. Wilson drew the shot wilh another beauty. Roach rushed through and a measure for the shot resulted in a dead heat, 12-—'7.
Twelfth Head—Leads drew two
feet away. McKegg lay the shot, but Rankin drew it. Murphy pushed him through and Bull rested from the bowl and lay the shot. With his second, however, he pushed Shannon into ihe shot. No alteration resulted from the skips. Shannon one up. 12—8.
Thirteenth Head. —Carr drew two feet behind. Wilson failed to alter. McKegg pushed up another Shannon bowl, and Rankin just missed carrying off kitty. Bull drew the third shot. Clements ran through, taking out one shot. Roach made no alteration, and Clements just missed lying the shot. Shannon one up. 12—9.
Fourteenth Head—Carr drew a beauty. Wilson drew the second shot. McKegg drew a toucher and Rankin just failed in shifting kitty. Bull played a goot shot and lay one up. Murphy pushed a low bowl up. Lawn two up. Roach urew a cl.nker, but just tailed. Clements threw iiis last bowl away. Levin one up. 18—a.
Fifteenth Head.—Wilson threw a tong head and drew within a foot. Carr beat him and drew a toucher Shannon two up. Rankin with his second howl drew the shot off, shining kitty. Levin two up. Clements drew short. Roach tried to run through hut ialied. Levin two up. 15—9. Sixteenth Head.—The first was a burnt head. Carr drew the shot. Wilson's second bowl was a measure. lyJcKegg pushed Levin into the shot. Roth skips were short. Clements drew another, and Roach pushed another Levin howl up. Levin two up. 17—9.
Seventeenth Head.—Wilson drew sliort. Carr drew kitty. McKegg drew the second shot. Bail pushed their own shot out, and with his second bowl drew the second shot. Tiie skips made no alteration. Shannon one up. 17-10.
Eighteenth Head.—Carr drew one foot past kitty. Wilson with his second howl drew to the lying shot and just failed. Rankin drew close in and Murphy touched kitty. .No alteration followed, and Murphy then drew kitty to his own howl. Two up. Bull drove without alteration. Roach had hard luck, and shifted kitty. Levin one up. Clements drew close in and Roach took his own howl out. A measure took place lor second. Levin one up. 18—10. Nineteenth Head. Wilson drew jack high, a fo-ot away. Rankin drew second, close to the lying shot. MeKegg drew' a measure. Murphy drew the shot, and Bull drew the second shot. Levin one up, 18—11,
'Twentieth Head.—Both leads were wide. Rankin drew the shot. McKegg was wide with both bowls. Rankin played for position. Murphy drew second, a wide head. Roach drew the shot. Clements was a trifle short. Roach was short and narrow, and Clements heavy. Shannon one one up. 18—12. Twenty-first head.—Carr was short. Wilson touched kitty two feet over. Carr was again short. Wilson drew a foot behind. Rankin drew the shot. Bull drew for position. Clements drew, but. Roach killed the head.
Carr was short, and Wilson narrow with bowls. McKegg and Rankin were short, but Rankin’s second bowl was well up- Murphy went wide and Bull short. Murphy was then well up, and Bull drew close. Roach again killed the head. Carr was short and Wilson got the shot and then Carr. Rankin drew for
position close in. Roach ran kitty. •Levin one up. , Roach again ran kitty. Shannon two up. Clements imade no alteration. Shannon, two up. Total: Levin 18, Shannon 14.
