OBITUARY.

The news of the sudden death of Mrs Hunt on Friday last came as a shock to her very many friends in Shannon, where she had been well known and highly respected since tier childhood. Mrs Hunt, in conjunction with her sister, Miss M. Dunckley, carried on a stationery and fancy good:', business here up to the time of Her marriage, some two years ago. Since then she has resided at the farm on Kingston Road. The news of ner death at Palmerston North cast a gloom over the town. Mrs Hunt has always taken a keen interest in social work and outdoor sports, and will be greatly missed. Deep sympathy is fell for her husband and mother, brothers and sisters, whom she leaves to mourn an irreparable loss. The interment took place on Saturday last at the shannon cemetery.
