SHANNON MATTERS.
At Saturday's County Council meeting the following local matters were dealt with:— CULVERT WANTS ATTENTION.
Mr J. Bowler complained of the bad state of a culvert on the.main road opposite his property near Shannon.

Mr E. Dais, Shannon, made a complaint that the East Road, shannon, was overrun daily with cows and horses, which were a danger to moior traffic, also destroying fences, anil thought it was about time the ranger jame that way and kept 1 lie road clear. The writer added that the Shannon ranger would be prepared to keep the road clear if authority granted him. It was reported that the complaint hail been brought under the notice of the ranger and had been attended to.
