ANOTHER WIN FOR Y.M.C.A. The Y.M.C.A.-Moutoa match was played on the latter’s ground. Taking lirst strike, the home team knocked up 48, T. Morgan .with a score of 17 being the most successful hatsman, S. Newth (11) and C. Morgan (10) being the other double-figure scorers. Y.M.C.A. passed the Moutoa total with a loss of two wickets, thus winning with eight wickets in hand. Weraroa had first use of the wicket, but except for Pringle, who played another good innings of 28, none of the other batsmen made a stand against the Shannon bowling, and the side was out lor 58. Shannon lost five wickets for 55, and eight for 56, Weraroa still having a fighting chance, and the finish was somewhat exciting.
