COMING CATHOLIC BAZAAR.
The Bazaar and Queen Carnival for which the ladies of the Carbolic congregation have been working so hard lor some time past, will open in the Maofiland Theatre on Thursday, November 17, and will continue on thd 18th and 19th, and also on the 24th and 25th —a period of five nights. Tne stalls have been apportioned to the following ladies:— The “Fibre” Stall.—Mesdames Curran and Kersey, with Miss Curran as Queen candidate. The Farmers’ Stall—Mesdames Upton and W. Moynihan,. with Miss Upton as Queen candidate. The Mangahao Hydro-electric Stall. Mesdames M. Moynihan and Gagliardi, with Miss Gagliardi as Queen candidate. The Children’s Stall. —Mrs Gill, with Miss Winnie Fitzgerald as Children’s Queen. Each ticket sold, in the Art Union means four votes 10 the Queen the ticket represents. There wall also be a refreshment stall, side. show's, tug-of war, and dancing by trained children under Mr Parkhouse, so that, there is no doubt everything points to this being one of the most successful bazaars held in Shannon.
