ant, and afterwards recalled as being unsuitable aud ambiguous as to the amount of land a person could bold. Mr Parkinson, editor of tbe Bawera Star, proved tbe signature of J. 0. Yorke, the Justice, before whom the declaration was made by Mr Hendy. MrT. G. Waitt, Receiver of Land Revenue, gave evidence as to the amount of land held by Hondy. At the time of the declaration Hendy held 253 acres on deferred payments, 630 acres on perpetual lease, and other sections, amounting in all to 1883 acres. Mr Reginald Bayley, Assistant Land Registrar, stated that Hendy also held 120 acres as lessee of land leased by the Public Trustee. The Court then adjourned till to-morrow.
