COLLARLESS DOGS, OR CURS.
[To the Editor.] Sir, —My opinion is that if our Dog Inspector or any of our City magnates, slept or tried to sleep within a hundred miles of the Shamrock Hotel, there would be a raid made on the above. At any rate they would undoubtedly go in for a more active dog man. Why not go in for the Auckland game of “lasso,’ it would be both a source of amusement and result in ope of quietude, to say nothing of putting down an intolerable nuisance. Let’s see ; Councillor Shepherd is the man, I think. Yours, &c., DARWIN.
