DISTRICT COURT.
TIMAEU—THIS DAT. (Before His Honor Judge Ward.) Before the business of the Court commenced, Mr J. W. White on behalf of members of the Timaru bar, took the opportunity of congratulating His Honor Judge Ward on being once more enabled after his recent accident to take his seat on the Bench. His Honor replied in a few words, thanking Mr White and his brethren of the long robe for their kindly expressions. CIVIL CASES. The cases Young and another v. O’Callaghan, claim £2OO, and Clark v. Fleming and Hedley, claim £45, were adjourned. The case of Frew v. Spillane, claim £SO, damages for trespass, it was stated had been settled out of Court. IN BANKRUPTCY. Orders of discharge were granted to the following debtors : Sarah Jane Louis, Frank Connell. Counsel —Mr Reid. Snelling W. Gillam, Caleb G. Maslin, James Webb. Counsel —Mr Hamersley. John Callanan, Francis Tavender. Counsel —Mr White. Robert Wood. Counsel—Mr Ormsby. Henry Holloway. Mr Hamersley moved for a rule nisi why debtor’s furniture should not be sold. Granted,
