LICENSING COURT.
(Before E. Beetham Esq., (chairman) E. Biworthy and H. Belfield, Esqs., Commissioners.) An adjourned sitting of the above took place at the Police Station this morning. THE CAVE HOTEL. The renewal of the license of this house was granted to W. Wildermoth, (for whom Mr Hamersley appeared), the Bench remarking that so far as they knew he had always conducted his house properly. It will be remembered that the question of renewal was adjourned at last licensing day in order that the Bench might decide on the double application for renewal, one Griffith Roberts, having also, made application for the license, PLEASANT POINT HOTEL. An application by R. Burton for a renewal of the license of the above hotel, adjourned from last licensing day, in order that the Bench might learn whether the applicant was a fit and proper person to hold a license, was granted. Mr Hamersley appeared for applicant. OPIHI HOTEL. An application for the temporary transfer of the above house from Joseph Nelson to T. B. Butler was refused. The Court then adjourned.
