A Thanksgiving DeputationSydney, April 14

A deputation of Italian residents in this city waited upon the Premier, Sir Henry Parkes, to-day, and presented him with a letter expressing in grateful terms their appreciation of the generous action of the New South Wales Government in affording assistance and shelter to their country-mem, the Italian immigrants belonging to the Marquis De Ray’s expedition, who recently arrived here from New Caledonia in a destitute condition.
