A bulletin issusd to-day reports that Earl Beaconsfield has experienced de. cided symptoms of recovery, and is hourly regaining strength. Conflicting ResolutionsA conference of Land Leaguers, held at Dublin, has passed a resolution declaring the Land Bill now before Parliament to be inadequate to meet the demands of tenants. A Conference of Tenants righters have passed a resolution approving of lhe provisions of the Irish Land Bill which has been introduced in Parliament. Death of a Clergyman. The death of the Rev. William Morley Punshon, a prominent Wesleyan minister, aged 57, is announced to-day. Turkey Remonstrates-
circular note to Hie Powers deprecating any violation of territory in Tunis. The Ultimatum AcceptedAthens, April 13. The Greek Government lias intimated to the Powers its acceptance of the Porte’s proposal for the extension of the Greek .frontier upon condition that a peaceful surrender of the territory to be ceded by Turkey is guaranteed. The Government at the same time appeals to the Powers to protect the Greeks who remain under Ottoman rule in Epirus and other Turkish districts bordering on Greece. Sir Hercules Interpos-s-Capetown, April 13. News has been received from Basutoland that an offer of mediation has been made by Sir Hercules Robinson to the Basutos with a view to bringing about a cessation of hostilities with the Cape forces, and the Basuto chief has accepted the mediation of His Excellency.
