A great sensation was caused by the discovery of a train of powder leading to Windsor Castle soon after the Queen’s return. Additional precautions are now taken.
Parnell has made a triumphal tomthrough Ireland. He everywhere met with an enthusiastic reception-triumphal arches, flags, and demonstrations of welcome.
