[By Telegraph.] Nelson, Fob. 28. At three o’clock Mrs Dodson, the wife of the Mayor, opened the meeting by firing the first shot, which proved a miss. One hundred and thirty competitors appeared for the first mate!), and the scores at the first range were as follows. First Match—2oo yards ; all members ; seven shots. The twenty three highest scorers are— Griffiths and Crossman,each 74; Payntor, Weymss, Wilkinson, Ross, and Hughes, each 73 ; Dixon, A. Sampson,' Adams, Ricketts, Smith, McKenzie, Rogers, Ballinger, Liouts. Somerville and Barstow, each 72 ; Chadwick, Payne 11. Wimsett, Gray, Anderson, and Ellis, each 71.
