Illness of a Bishop. Sydney, Jan. 3

Bishop Parker has bad a severe attack of paralysis. Prayers were offered up in all the churches yesterday for his recovery. His Lordship is decidedly improved to-day.

Adelaide. Jan. 3. Fatal Bush Fire.

Serious bush fires have occurred in the country distracts, attended by loss of life and property. In one locality a woman with her five daughters and son have been burned to death.
