Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Tuesday, Oct. 19. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 6 a.m. For New South Wales and Queensland, per Wakatipu, at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 20. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Colombo and Brindisi, will close at Timaru on above date. Money orders and registered letters at 11.30 a.m. The mail will be due in London on Dec 9. Thursday, Oct 21. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Eotomahana, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26.
