Hunt were each lined os and costs for this offence. lilt EACH OF THE LICENSING ORDINANCE. Helen Potter was charged with supplying drink on Sunday. Inspector Thomson prosecuted. Mr Clement appeared for the defendant and admitted that the drink had been supplied, but pleaded that this was
clone without Mrs Potter’s knowledge or permission. ' * The offence was considered proven and a fine of 20s was inflicted, with costs. , A second charge of supplying liquor to a person under the influence of drink was dismissed! ' CIVIL CASKS. J. Cordner v. J. T. Hydes—Claim 10s. Judgment by default. Bryson v. Joseph Attewell, sen.— Claim £1 17s. Judgment summons. Defendant objected to the -name of Joseph Attewell, sen., his name being George Attewell. His Worship ruled that a new summons would be necessary.
