Volleyball
The first game of the evening last week saw an easy four set to nil win to Try Hards over Ruapehu College Girls B but Dreamers in the second game face a more determined Ruapehu College Girls A team. The Dreamers won 2-1 with Girls A winning the second set and leading in the fourth set before time was called. Buckskin had a 3-0 win over the Telecom team in game three and in the fourth game McCarthy ' s defaulted to Tomb Raiders when they could only field three players. The Just Us girls played well and were encouraged by a large number of supporters but Winpulp were too strong, winning game five, 3-0. The Ohakune Volleyball Club would like to thank Winstone Pulp International for their very generous donation which will help volleyball become established in the area. Draw for Sunday 1 5 June: 6.40pm Buckskin vs Girls A; 7.20pm Telecom vs Girls B; 8.00pm Just Us vsTomb Raiders; 8.40pm Winpulp vs Try Hards; 9.20pm McCarthy' s vs Dreamers.
