New director for RCL

The chief executive of RCL and RQL, Paul Gellately, has resigned his position to pursue other interests in the engineering consultancy field. Douwe Hoogstra has been appointed general manager of the two companies and is taking up the position immediately. Mr Hoogstra was consultancy unit manager for the Ruapehu District Council and brings with him considerable experience in contract management and quality systems which will be invaluable to the company in its future development, said RHL director Garrick Workman. He said Mr Gellately may provide consultancy services to the company from time to time.
