• On Tuesday afternoon police arrested a Waiouru man for assaulting his female partner. • A burglary was reported to a storeroom in Powles Ave and seven Repco brand 21 -speed mountain bikes stolen. Two of the bikes were later recovered. • In the early hours of Thursday morning police attended an assault complaint at an address in Rangipo Street where a woman was punched by another woman. Enquiries are continuing with regard to this. • Also on Thursday a bicycle stolen from Waiouru on 3 November was recovered at a rural property on SH49.
