Roads quiet
• It was a quiet week on the roads. On Saturday police accompanied the Around the Mountains Relay which attracted about 25000 people including competitors and supporters. The race started in bad weather although this improved as the day went on. No crashes were reported although several complaints were received about runners not wearing reflective clothing while running over the Desert Road in the dark. 12 persons were treated for injuries, dehydration and exhaustion.
