Ruapehu senior seconds
Ruapehu Senior Seconds played Wanganui Counties at the Raetihi sho w grounds following the Under 21' s match. Ruapehu went down to Counties 8-0, with an unconverted try and a penalty. The game sea-sawed with repeated attacking and defensive tactics by both teams. Two of Ruapehu' s players were sent off for infringements of the rules. Following the game, some players commented on the varying inconsistency of the current rules. Ruapehu played on with 13 players. The game flowed quite well and in spite of their loss, Ruapehu were able to hold their opposition at bay and at full time the score remained 8-0.
