Reunion thanks
• I am an old pupil (1943- 1948) of Ohakune Primary and District High School, and attended the reunion a few days ago. I wonder if I might use your columns to express my appreciation to the organisers for their good work. It is a massive job to arrange an event of this nature. It was however extremely well organised, but not over-
organised — there was plenty of time for people to mix informally. We were well looked after, well entertained, and certainly well fed. The caterers can certainly take a bow, as can the photographers who had to cope with a huge load under pressure, but who never seemed to lose their courtesy and good humour. To the organising committee, staff , pupils, and everybody who helped in any way to make the event what it was, may I say "Thank you, and well done." Barry Rush, Wellington
