Road metal facts
• Three cheers for Winstone Oliver ! We should be proud of him. Here in on our own Community Board we have a man who is prepared to tell the truth! Your paper' s article on the recent Community Board meeting is an eye-opener. The financial allocation for our road-metal is being wasted. Come to me Transit New Zealand and I'll give you some facts. Has our board reached the stage where it just stamps its approval on dodgie reports and squanders funds? Don Sattler should hand in his resignation as he well knows his report and the board approval are just a blatant whitewash.
