Turoa season ends
Meanwhile Turoa has ended its ski season, finishing on Sunday with a free skiing day. Turoa opens for a summer ski season on 26 December until 8 January. Turoa marketing manager Joanna Savage said 2000 skiers visited Turoa onthe weekend. High winds madethings "inconvenient" for skiers on Saturday and excellent conditions were to be had on Sunday.
