Plunket work awards given
Waimarino Plunket stalwarts were presented with awards marking their years of hard work last week at an informal gathering. Cathy Home was presented with a Certificate of Merit and Badge acknowledging^her seven years of work for the local branch of Plunket in a position of responsibility . Cathy has been president of the previous Ohakune branch and is the current president of the Waimarino branch. Sherryn Ramsey thanked Cathy for her hard work and her sincerity and said it was a pleasure to work with her. Robyn Wilson was also presented. with a branch service award, recognising her five years of work for Plunket. In thanking Robyn Mrs Ramsey said it was great to have young mothers on Plunket committees because they are the ones who provide feedback to regional and national groups as to what is really important for young children and families.
