Pluck cup
The Raetihi Ladies were challenged on Wednesday for the Pluck Cup this time from Helmore Park Ladies from Wanganui. The green was much faster for this game and a very good game took place with Raetihi losing the Cup to Helmore Park 25-14. The challenging team proved superior on the day, but a good game of bowls was played by both teams. . This was the third challenge for Raetihi this season for the Cup. A number of supporters were present to give the teams moral support. The Raetihi team for the game were Skip Robin Scarrow, Second Di Martin, Third Joce Craig, Lead Joy McCoy. The Pluck Cup could come back to the area if the Ohakune Ladies are successful in their challenge later in the season.
