Waimarino Golf

Some very good scoring in both the senior and junior divisions were tallied this week. In the junior Richard Mabbott and Richard Taoa had the best scores on 4-up, with Richard Taoa winning the meat pack on the toss. Richard Mabbott was rewarded with the Roarer's Mug later, however. Bryce Henry and Graham Lind continued their good recent form on 3-up. The two Murdies, Alan and Andrew, continued their own little battle on 2-up. In the seniors Neil Leitz won the meat pack with 4up. James Ennis, Grant Fountain and Michael Lloyd all fmished on 2-up. James has only just returned to the game after being out for most of the year and is showing very good form - he could be well in contention to defend his club championship later in the year.
