Waimarino Adult Riding Club A.G.M.

There was a good attendance at the above A.G.M. where the President's and the Treasurer's reports were presented. The

latter showed the Club's finances were in good heart, so subscriptions are to remain the same at $10 per person. Elected officers remained the same i.e. President: Evelyn Cooper; Vice President: Debbie Hill; Secretary/Treasurer: Adrienne Maru, with all members on the committee. A general meeting followed, with a report on the Examiners Seminar held at Waikanae at Queens Birthday weekend, which discussed fully the new Riding and Road Safety examination and ran a simulated test. Debbie Hill, Evelyn and Heather Cooper attended from the club. Discussions started on the club's participation at the next North Island Team Event at the end of the year, with suitable music selection for the quadrille, and riders keen to participate, being the starting point.
