The drought is finally over. No, not in Auckland but at the Ohakune Bridge Club. After quite a long dry spell Mark Hays and Bob Tumataroa have finally had a win. Mark and Bob played conservative bridge to score 148 pts and win the evening' s competition with 61.67%. It was the narrowest of wins as just one point behind were Ron Frew and Brian Eades while one point further back were Sue Treadwell and Gerry Cranston giving them scores of 61.25% and 60.83% respectively. In fourth place for the evening were Ron Martin and Heather Cranston with 59.17%.
