Ladies golf
The first Windle Memorial Par was the competition for the week prior to Easter. A par is when a player takes the number of strokes set down for a particular hole. Depending on the player' s handicap they might be allowed one or two extra strokes. The following came out all square: G Fraser, D
Winchcombe and D Knapp; K Greenwood had a two. Sunday 3 April and Wednesday 6 April competition was the 2nd Ladies Golf Union. The first Wilson Rose Bowl and the 2nd GMT was won by F Wise with a 64 nett. Two's were scored by E Rush and B Hibbard.
