Bowls batons up

An Ohakune Mens Bowling Club batons up and fund raising night was held at the club rooms recently. The event was organised and run by the Ladies Bowling Club with all proceeds going to the Men's Bowling Club. It was a most enjoyable evening with a good selection of prizes being shared

amongst the crowd. The Ohakune Bowling Club is very appreciative of the organisers and special thanks to those members of the local business community who were so generous with their sponsorship. A total of $673 was raised. Sponsors of the event were: Ohakune Court Motel, Hobbit, Kings Court, Williams and Ket-
